We are a local farming family and so are passionate about using the freshest local produce. Our butcher, Shane Moore from Kilkhampton, a beef and sheep farmer himself, understands the importance of local consistent quality. From our renowned 21 day matured succulent steaks to Olde Cornish sausages delivered daily, he plays an important role in the success of the The Old Wainhouse Inn. Celtic Fish and Game provide us with all the pheasant, venison and other game we require, along with fresh seafood caught in these waters.
Children are not excluded, all of their meals are prepared from fresh ingredients too. Ranging from mini Cornish fish and chips to stonebaked pizzas, we cater for all tastes.
A traditional roast carvery is served every Sunday with a choice of at least two delicious local meats, and interesting vegetarian options are always available.
